Nice early example of the classic comic by Al Capp, dated 5/15/38 (18” x 22”). Art is missing it’s topper (see published image), but still a great piece.

There was a time this was one of America's most popular comic strips -- hard to imagine today.

I read L'il Abner as a boy in the 50s, and it was my favorite Sunday cartoon in the funnies.

A fine example, tho' a bit "Gulp" making. 😳
