Tavola originale realizzata da Walter Venturi per John Doe #23, albo intitolato “Il Giannizzero Nero”. L’opera mostra il protagonista della serie creata da Lorenzo Bartoli e Roberto Recchioni, John Doe, insieme al Giannizzero Nero, personaggio chiaramente ispirato al classico del fumetto mondiale Dago. L’opera presenta alcune pecette correttive applicate sul disegno iniziale, anche esse lavorate in originale. La tavola è firmata in basso a sinistra.

Original page by Walter Venturi for John Doe #23, book entitled “Il Giannizzero Nero”. The artwork shows John Doe, the protagonist of the series created by Lorenzo Bartoli and Roberto Recchioni, together with the Black Janissary, a character clearly inspired by the classic of comics Dago. The artwork shows some corrections applied over the original drawing, all originally drawn too. The artwork is signed on the bottom left side.
