11x17" Marvel artboard has pen and ink original art for page 1 of "Superior Spider-Man" Vol. 2 #9, published by Marvel Sept. 2019. Art is by Mike Hawthorne, noted for his work on "Deadpool, Queen & Country, Conan: Road Of Kings" and other titles. He has been nominated for both Harvey and Eisner awards. Art has been inked by Wade von Grawbadger. Splash page features the Superior Spider-Man (the mind of Otto Octavius in Peter Parker's body) being presented the key to San Francisco as crowd applauds. Top margin has penciled "SSM" title abbreviation w/issue/page numbers as well as Hawthorne's name. Hawthorne has signed his name at lower right. Art is clean and Exc. Wonderful example from this popular Spider-Man storyline by one of Marvel's hottest artists.
