DescriptionGeneration Next is widely viewed as the best mini-series of the AoA epic, and this page is from the concluding issue.In this issue Mondo has infiltrated the Core -- a prison facility watched over by the Sugar Man—and rescued Colossus' sister Illyana, who was crucial to Bishop's plan to save all of reality. On this page Mondo has just emerged from the Core with Illyana safely inside him. He finds a couple of Sugar Man's henchmen waiting outside and throws them off a cliff. It is actually a dark comedic moment as the second victim is trying to convince Mondo he was trying to help him, and Mondo sighs as he throws him over the cliff. Social/Sharing |

Sweet page! I need to re-read this book as I've not done so since it came out back in the day.

Gen Next #4 was the only comic that made me feel a character's despair, when Colossus flaked on the rest of the team fighting.

Probably my favorite four issues of any series. Always great to see another original turn up.

Awesome page. Love the art on this series, this to me is some of the best work of his career.
