Description

Beatlemania collides with Marvelmania as the Human Torch and the Thing "Meet the Beatles!" No Beatles appear up front, here, in Powell's variation on the customary Torch-vs.-Thing mock-battle, but the English rockers served as the inspiration for the tongue-in-cheek story, which old-timer Powell (then a newcomer to the emerging Marvel scene) co-wrote with editor Stan Lee.
