Description

As you can see in my gallery, Comic Con Paris 2019 was once again a packed event with an even more packed Artist Alley. I had recently discovered writer Donny Cates with "God Country" and had followed his "Venom" run, too, which I think will be considered a seminal run on the character. The way he adds to the mythos is just amazing.

So I had to have a quick sketch and - despite the long queues - he gracefully agreed. We also took a really cool picture with him doing the "sign of the horns" gesture. Such a cool and down-to-earth writer. Size of the Venom sketch is 9x12. He also did a similar one on my Marvel #1000.
