Description

The last page of the 8 page Joker Short Story homaging the famous end scene of Milos Forman’s One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.

I thought this short story was a hoot, with Azzarello and Bermejo kind of making meta commentary on the recent issues they had on Batman: Damned and also doing a crazy parody of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest which is kind of fitting given the Jack Nicholson connection time Joker.

It’s interesting to note that in the published version of the story, the Oscar statue was changed to a Statue of Superman. More editorial interference I guess.

That really is an interesting editorial change. I wonder why? Maybe they felt it was too on-the-nose with the clear movie reference? Either way, I like that joker scene and the page. Congrats!
