Description

This illustration was originally created for CCXP 2019.

It was then made into X-men #1 cover. They however had to edit the cigar out from Wolverine though which I assume was due to Marvel's no smoking policy. They also had to cover some characters as I believe they want to focus more on the mutants in the main roster.

At 30 x 18 inches and 26 characters altogether, this might be the most ambitious piece I have ever seen from Felipe.

90's X-men has a special place in my heart as I grew up loving these characters.
I was thrilled to know that this piece was available and I had to bring it home.

Man, this must be something to pore over over in person! So much packed into this BIG piece. Lots of characters rendered beautifully and the color work is next level. Sincere congrats!

Thanks and yes indeed. I have this hanged on the wall outside my bedroom and everytime I go pass it I always stop for a minute just to admire all the details and the characters in it. One of Felipe's best for sure.
