Description

Frank Robbins Johnny Hazard Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 11-11-70 (King Features Syndicate, 1970). Ballerina Marushka has lost her love (Leonev), and consequently her ability to dance with passion. Robbins heavy-handed use of ink is a perfect vehicle for the shadows and dark moods of this strip. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 18.75" x 5.25". A slightly toned strip, with an irregularly trimmed top margin. Light soiling and handling wear. In Very Good condition.
