Description

Kirby's Fourth World with two trademark Kirby vehicles -- one inside the other! A team of "Hairies" are unloading the Newsboy Legion's Wonder Wagon from their own "Mountain of Judgment," a rolling missile carrier in the shape of a giant beast.

The Superman figures in the first two panels were redone by another hand, perhaps Al Plastino. Kirby's penciled Superman head is still partly visible in the second panel. Mark Evanier has said that he was responsible for revising Kirby's drawings of the Superman logo.

Check out the two air traffic controllers in panel one (right) preparing to eject the Whiz Wagon! Kirby thought things through to a remarkable degree.

Great example from Kirby's return to DC and early "4th world" storylines and still a crying shame that DC mixed up bad with the King's art on the Supes + Olsen heads to useless maintain the look of their faces for the S-Family lines !
