DescriptionGreat feel good story around this piece. Many years ago I owned this piece and it was a grail for me since it is from one of my favorite John Byrne FF stories. Also this is really the only page out there by John Byrne that features Doctor Strange in almost every panel. Due to financial circumstances I had to sell this piece years ago. It's one of those regents I had lived with for a awhile now. Most of the time you may never see or be able to purchase that art back. In this case this page popped up on eBay a couple of years ago. I was ecstatic and stressed having to wait till the auction ended. I put in my highest bid and watched this to the last sec and I ended up pulling it out. I am so happy to have this page back and its never going anywhere again.Year Published: 1985 Social/Sharing |

Byrne did so much great work on FF. I like Ordway's inks over his pencils, and what a cool Dr Strange page. You even got Wong, the Sanctum Sanctorum and Strange calling the cloak of levitation to him. Very cool. Congrats!

Splendid Byrne page! Love that it has a kind of Ditko feel to it. Great pick-up!

Great story on getting a great page back. I remember this story and was really curious what the good doctor would look like under Byrne. I thought he really knocked it out of the park.
