J. G. Jones Death of Wolverine #1 Dynamic Forces Exclusive Variant Cover Painting Original Art (Marvel, 2014). The last days of Logan were chronicled in this limited series. J. G. Jones' painted variant cover was one of the best of the (many) covers offered for this issue. The background is stuffed full of characters who were influential in Logan's life... Professor X, Sabretooth, Mystique, Cyclops, Omega Red, Lady Deathstrike, and even the Hulk and Wendigo (harkening back to Wolverine's very first appearance in Incredible Hulk #180). Rendered in oil on Bristol board, and signed by the artist below the 10.5" x 15.25" image area. In Excellent condition.
