Description

I've noted elsewhere on this site my fascination with Simon Marsden, the photographer who devoted his life to illustrating "the haunted realm." He's been the subject of at least two documentaries. One of them, "Simon Marsden's Haunted Life In Pictures," is available on Amazon Prime and I recommend it highly.

This original 1976 photo is of Berry Pomeroy Castle, a ruined 15th-century mansion near Totnes. Reputedly one of the most haunted places in England, Berry Pomeroy has a Blue Lady, a White Lady and assorted other revenants. I've been here and it is suitably creepy, I assure you.

I recently purchased several Marsden photos at auction and will share some more soon.
