Description

You never forget the first time you picked up and read a Batman comic by Kelley Jones. His take on Batman was immediately recognizable because of his unique style. This piece is all the more impressive due to Kevin Knowlan's precise and sharp inks!

The art is 11x17 on Strathmore and is inked with India inks. I've added some extra close ups to show off the details.

There is an inscription by Kevin Nowlan on the reverse that says this pin up was created by Jones and Nowlan for the Ed Asner Family Center Fundraiser in Sept. of 2018. I picked it up during the Nov. 2020 Comic Art Live.

Love this! Great Kelley Jones (and Nowlan) piece! Kevin's inks are clean and crisp as always and Kelley's style is still 100% intact.
