DescriptionA bunch of army gorillas get their butts kicked by a giant sand creature that moves like "Sandman" (yes Ditko Spidey #4 + later Kirby FF's Marvel baddie, not one the various from DC with this name :) ! Kamandi was Jacks longest running series by far (he wrote and drew the first 37 issues, then drew 2 more with Conway scripting) since his departure at Marvel in the middle of 1970. The gorillas are still my favorites of these incredible Animal-Men variants in this funny "Planet of the Apes" rip-off series ! Kamandi was the first U.S. comics series I remember I read when I was a kid. And I remember I was instantly hooked :) Great page, Tommy, congrats!
