Thanks for sharing! It's a great example of SPLATT's work. I hope to own one myself one day. I wish he had stayed more active in comics but unfortunately we will all be scavenging what is a available. Grats on a good get!

Thank you for the kind words! Platt is one of those guys who just fills his pages with energy. His "noodling" as one inker put it, drove him nuts, but it sure was worth it for US to see. It is sad, though, that he didn't have a larger body of work. It seems like there's hardly ever any circulating. Best of luck in your quest to obtain some of it!!! : )

Wow! Crazy cool! I can't get over how much detail Platt puts into every page! Amazing!

Thank you very much! Yes, exactly! As a Fantasy/Sci-Fi guy, the subject matter on this series is just about as cool as it gets for me. But Platt...my goodness, I wish there were more of his stuff out there! Or maybe we could clone him and put him back to work? : )

Yes, for sure.
I was roommates with Joe Weems for 12 years. So I got see him ink every Platt page, awesome stuff!
Joe and I inked a ton of pages during that 12 year time span.

Some nice simmering storytelling on the left leading to the killer battle splash on the right! Great example of his UBER detailed work, Ellis. Particularly on the uniform of the axe weilder. Next level stuff, man. Congrats!

Thank you sir! And Sal Regla...a bit lesser known, excpet to those of us who paid attention to the Wildstorm stuff, but totally badass! Joe Weems said Stephen's "noodling" used to drive him nuts, and I can totally understand!

Another great Platt page! Wish this series had a proper run, but I'll always have great memories of reading these books when I was a kid.
