DescriptionBryan Lee O'Malley tapped into millennial angst with his six Scott Pilgrim volumes that also spawned video games and a movie based on the books, which took it's title from this second volume.Scott Pilgrim is a slacker in Toronto who battles the exes of his love interest, Ramona Flowers, to earn the right to be with her. It's a funny, endearing story and O'Malley, a Canadian, references places in and around Toronto. This page is set on the bus as Scott's roommate Wallace Wells tells Scott to break up with his girlfriend so he can be with Ramona. Nice images of both characters and you can see the Manga influence. Page is only 7" by 11". In the later books, O'Malley worked on somewhat larger pages and had an assistant do some of the backgrounds. Social/Sharing |
