I learned who Ken Mitchroney was while reading the Archie published Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures comic series. Several very talented artists worked on that series, but my favorite issues were the ones drawn by Ken. I loved his work so much, I would emulate Ken's style in my own TMNT drawings. In early 2021, Ken opened a commission list and I was fortunate to be in the right situation at the right time to request a piece. I ask Ken if he could pick one of a couple classic TMNT panels and asked him to make them feel like his version Turtles. He absolutely delivered with a fantastic looking piece of art! On top of that, he was professional, kind, fast and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. This is the second piece of art I ever commissioned, but the first I received.
