Description

since i was in my early teens i�ve been collecting published #jeffjones art, but i didn�t think i�d own an original such as this #tarzan pencil from the mid 1990s;
.
during the 1970s, #frazetta claimed he had to elevate his paintings after seeing jeff�s art;
.
in the late 90s, jeff began treatment for female hormones; and during this time #jeffreycatherinejones was creating iconic paintings; yet there were numerous setbacks he encountered in the years to follow, such as the break up of his second marriage; arrested for a traffic violation and incarcerated with an all-male population; losing his home, studio and most of his possessions due to hard times; and lengthy hospitalization for a mental breakdown;

during the years leading up to his death in 2011, jeff thought his transgender treatment was a mistake and there was no way of going back; but he accepted the things as they were�and wanted to be remembered as #jeffreyjones
