DescriptionThese are the originals for panels that were censored by Marvel for published versions of the Conan the Barbarian story "The Dweller in the Dark" in Conan the Barbarian #12 and Savage Tales #4. Barry cut the original art out to preserve them when he found out they were going to be altered. The published alterations were made on stats. These uncensored versions were printed years later in a BWS interview in Two Morrows' Comic Book Artist magazine.Social/Sharing |

My goodness! When they use the term "art treasure", this is the kind of stuff they're talking about. Thank you so much for sharing these. Hopefully you will include a larger scan or maybe detail shots of these. Absolutely phenomenal. Wow, just WOW!

Simply stunning, second the thanks for sharing... I'd almost change my name to acquire these panels...nice to see BWS shared these with you, I'm sure you deserved them!

Out of curiousity, what would you be willing to change your name to, in order to get these treasures?

Well it says "For Alexander" but "Poor B@st@rd" could be my new name instead

Amazing piece of history. So innocuous when viewed now.

Each panel is very impressive, and the way they are displayed collectively enhances the overall effect.
