Description

An awesome selection of characters in this most unexpected and unlikely of throwdowns: X-Statix vs. Avengers, competing for the pieces of Doop�s brain (split into pieces by Mjolnir here, and leaving poor Doop with nothing to run on except the backup brain in its butt). More off-the-chain Mike Allred fun with beautiful Nick Craine inks (love the backlit Guy Smith in the bottom panel) and outstanding Laura Allred published colors.

Indescribable, heartfelt thanks to my wonderful family for a birthday gift that will never be forgotten. <3 (and thank you, Albert! :) )

X-Statix is one of the gems of the Marvel Universe and Allred is a unique talent. This page is a fantastic example of his work! Congratulations!
