DescriptionPublished in the 1978 edition of Red Shadows, as one of eight interior plates. It is said that this was loosely interpreted as a Jones self-portrait (with a strong jaw)... 18" x 26" oil on masonite. Wow, I love the handling in this! Amazing how many edges and details are lost in the shadows but it's such a solid head

How there could be so many views and no likes on a Jones piece, escapes me! I'm jealous!
