Description

Humberto Ramos! And not just Humberto Ramos, but Humberto Ramos doing what Humberto Ramos does best; beautifully stylized, wonderfully realized renditions of characters being characters. Awesome inking choices add to the scene and sense of atmosphere (the textures on the mic hood and shock mount in front, and the sound bafflers behind); this one delights and cracks me up every time.

Some great color work by on the published page by Christina Strain make this one a joy to see both with and without chroma. Thank you once again, Dave!

Agreed! Personality leaps from the page the way a good action panel does! Congrats on such a splendid example of the mastery of Ramos.

As soon as I saw this, I thought: Howard Stern, Jay and Silent Bob...Just the vamp versions. I'm tickled by the idea of a vampire talk show complaining about some other menace. Heh. Yeah, those super heroes...always getting in the way of our blood drinking! Fun page, with really clean pencils and inks. Congrats!
