Description

Cover painted by Rafael López Espí for the Spanish edition of FANTASTIC FOUR VOL.1 N‹19, published by Vértice in 1970. It's titled "Star attack" and The USA content corresponds to Fantastic Four Vol.1 #37-38. One of the most representative FF covers plus a imposing pin up with the 4 main characters, in true style "poster" by Lopez Espi. The first cover of FF who performed in rigid format (table) was the vol. 1 issue #37, and at the same time in other collections, so this cover is made of cardboard.

Portada original pintada por Rafael López Espí para la edición española de LOS 4 FANTASTICOS VOL.1 #19 publicado por la editorial Vértice en 1970. Se titula "Ataque estelar" y el contenido USA corresponde a Fantastic Four Vol.1 #37-38. Una de las más representativas portadas de la serie FF además de un espléndido pin up con los 4 protagonistas, al más puro estilo "cartel" de López Espí que nos cautivaba nada más verla en el quiosco. La primera portada de FF que realizó en formato rígido (tabla) fue el número 37 del vol. 1, y a la par en el resto de colecciones, de manera que esta portada está hecha sobre cartulina.
