Description

This is a fun commission! Ken Branch drew an alternate cover of X-Men #150 in the style of John Byrne! As you know, Byrne's last Uncanny X-Men was issue #143, so this was a his take on what it would have looked like if Byrne had stayed the course!

Drawn and inked by Branch in 2007, he said, "the cover was done mostly as a sample piece. The idea of the "What If", was if JB had stayed on X-men. It's my interpretation from interviews I read years ago in X-men companions one and two. Think it was mostly a Terry Austin interview that this idea sprang from".

Love this version over the actual published #150 cover by Dave Cockrum. What do you all think?!
