Description

A very early illustration by George Pratt from the early 1980s, done I believe when he was in art school or shortly after graduation. Gives me strong Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers vibes.

Mixed media on 9x12 cold press paper.

really cool looking piece, even from his earlier work you can tell he was working with a special viewpoint artistically.

Quite lovely as this certainly shows the influence of sci-fi illustrators upon George Pratt's work. Raymond's Flash Gordon comes to mind with the antiquities influenced oppulance rendered in the sci-fi millieu.
