DescriptionA rendition of Jean Grey from artist Shawn Geabhart. Something unexpected I ended up winning in an auction.Not sure how I really feel about this piece, not something I would normally go after, but I do enjoy this perspective of Jean Grey. Without the BG, I don’t think I would connect this rendition with any X character but once you add the props and BG it starts to materialize that this is indeed a version of one of the original 5 students. Don’t know much about the artist either, but curious to see what else they may capture in their style of art. This version of Jean Grey seems to be from the Grant Morrison run of New X-Men, simular to what Jean Grey looks like in New X-Men #129. Social/Sharing |
