DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!11.5x17.5" artboard features pen and ink original art by Val Mayerik, inked by Jack Abel for Man-Thing Vol. 1 #3, published by Marvel March 1974. Art is for page 10 and features five panels w/large splash panel at top, showing hippie couple greeting biker friends. Of note, Volkswagen bus can be seen in bkg. and motorcycle features Iron Cross decoration. Top margin has stamped Man-Thing title and inked issue/page numbers w/information repeated in blue pencil. Margins have scattered blue pencil editorial notations. Back has Marvel copyright stamp. Text strip taped at bottom left w/page number stat also taped in place. Upper left/right and bottom center margins have thin strips of aged tape/tape staining, not affecting art, which remains clean and Exc. Social/Sharing |
