11.5x13.5" artboard w/two pegholes along bottom margin features pen and ink original art for cover to Beetle Bailey #98, published by Charlton Comics in April 1973. Art by Mort Walker features Sarge yelling at Beetle Bailey as usual, but Beetle has improvised pillow and pole to keep him upright and from being blown over by Sarge's tirade. Art bears Beetle Bailey creator Mort Walker signature at lower right. Top left margin has penciled title, issue number and publication month and bottom has penciled "Beetle Cover" along w/some editorial notations. Back has Comics Code Authority inkstamp. Lower right corner has been clipped but art remains clean and would make for Exc. framed display.
