DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!11x16-5/8" artboard features pen and ink original art by Steve Gieger, inked by Joe Del Beato for Sectaurs #3, published by Marvel Oct. 1983. Art is for page 6 and features four panels, showing Prince Dargon, Mantor and Pinsor giving the appearance of an attempted kidnapping of Prince Dargon's uncle, Regent Galken, who summons his guards as the trio flee. Top margin has inked title abbreviation and issue/page numbers. Bottom margin has been signed in black felt tip pen by Del Beato, who adds "Best" inscription. Top margin has uneven trim and top left as well as both bottom corners have been clipped (not affecting art). Dialogue/caption paste-overs have tanned w/age and artboard shows some scattered staining to first panel. Fine/VF overall but would make for nice framed display. Social/Sharing |
