I'll be the first to admit that I know next to nothing about The Comet series and its titular hero! Having said that, I DO love Tom Lye's art so when my eyes fell upon this awesome cover, something about it just called to me. The art is just plain beautiful, and with gorgeous inking by Scott Hanna, what's not to appreciate?!

This evolution of Tom Lyle's work in between Strike! and his Spider-Man work was really strong! RIP Mr. Lyle.

When a piece is this good, it doesn't matter if you read the comic. Tom Lyle was a true master.

Fabulous Tom Lyle cover. Never read the comic either, but I love the art.
