With Coipel's prices continuing to climb,I figured if I was planning on adding one to my collection, the time to move on a piece was sooner rather than later. What better example than an epic Thor sporting a fine new design, and a first issue from an highly regarded run to boot!

If you're a modern art collector, I don't see any way around getting a Coipel. With an image befitting the cover of a first issue, Thor is majestically rendered as an all powerful noble god. Wonderful Series Birth Cover!

I love that crackling energy sphere around Mjolnir. And Odin's ravens. This is such a simple but awesome cover, with all kinds of great artistic tricks. Beautiful. Big congrats!
