Description

This is my second commission on the Addams Family theme. The goal with these is to get artists to do the family in their own personal style.

Chris works in the animation industry, having worked at many of the larger studios but his personal style is almost never seen. So it was fun to see how he would interpret the kooky bunch. I think it turned out pretty well.

Full of personality and quirks, each member of the family tells their own story of being a misfit to us while collectively being a family that fits together! The body shapes and wacky faces are fine caricature work.

Oh my goodness, that is so fun!! Pugsley and Morticia especially crack me up. I like how happy Uncle Fester is.

This is actually quite excellent. I can always tell when someone with an anmation background has done a sketch, as the work is often done with a loose, quick, thin line, probably going straight in with pen due to that unmatched confidence that animators have. A very nice piece that captures the feel and spirit of Charles Addams' work.
