DescriptionHope everyone is having a fun and fruitful ComicArtLive event. Week four of cover month here at Shemp's gallery. From 2006. Usually I buy art from books read or collected. I never read Justice League Unlimited but I loved the cartoon. The Best Justice League cartoon ever! I loved every episode especially when they included and highlighted the lesser known heroes, those were my favorite. So, why this cover? I'm not sure, I saw the published cover and I knew I wanted it. I'm a big Jonah Hex fan so that was a plus, I like Batlash so an added bonus, it was just a cool cover to me. It reminded me of the cover to Justice League of America #198. Which is really a cool cover itself. Vigilante, Jonah Hex, Batlash, Wonder Woman and Elongated Man, on a Justice League cover, what's not to love. From 2006 Justice League Unlimited #19 by artist Ty Templeton. Social/Sharing |

Just like those one off episodes, the spotlight is on some of the minor members and they get to shine! Their powers may not be godlike, but their skills are uniquely highlighted and compliment some of the more powerful members!

Good god, Marcus! Haven't seen hide nor hair of you all weekend and now that CAF CON LIVE! is over, you're right back where you left off, leaving comments one step ahead of me! Forsooth!
Shemp, I have a soft spot for the Western genre, and I love Jonah Hex and really enbjoyed Bat Lash's silver age series as well, so that's already good enough for me. Looks like we got ourselves a good old fashioned Mexican stand off! On this cover, Wonder Woman is simply a bonus!

Been busy looking at all the Perkins greatness all weekend long. Waiting for that Lord Havok art drop.
The Trigger Twins were easily taken out in one issue by a rookie Azbats, don't know why their guns would pose a threat to WW with her bracelets.

Something was definitely wrong with the search function. I type in Lord Havok and I just a get a skinny guy in a mime outfit with Bullseye's mask. Anyhowse, Ty is up there in terms of the animated style over some of the artists that followed him. He's a good Canadian kid that worked his breezy animated style on Legion of Superheroes before taking the reigns of this title.
