Description

A menacing Joker takes on the swooping Batwing over a Gotham City in flames!

Gotham Adventures was a continuation of the excellent comic adaptation of Batman: Animated Series that began with The Batman Adventures. By the time this issue was published in the early 2000s, the animated characters had undergone a redesign as evidenced by the streamlined Joker here. Fun stuff!

Other than Bruce Timm himself, I feel nobody did a better job in the Timm style than Ty Templeton. While he began as an artist on Batman animated books, Ty later did some great scripts including for this issue.

Joker covers always had a charisma and madness about them! As his number one rogue, he's got a reputation to uphold and better upstage Batman whenever he can.

I had a subscription to the title and remember how this awesome cover made the book a top of the pile read ! Beautiful art !
