DescriptionJOHN BOLTON - original art THOR "Bizarre Adventures" #32 Marvel 1982 This history of Thor was called "Sea of Destiny", a short story of only 14 pages published in Bizarre Adventures magazine #32, 1982. The work of John Bolton in this pages are incredible. For me one of the best ink wash work for Marvel super heroes. Is wonderful for me to have one of these rare and limited pieces in my collection. ________________________________________________________________________________________ Sicuramente questo è uno tra i pezzi Marvel più particolari e rari su cui sono riuscito a mettere le mani. Un pezzo un po' fuori dai classici canoni degli originali Marvel che solitamente vediamo in giro. Questa pagina di Thor è parte di un breve racconto di sole 14 pagine, "Sea of Destiny", pubblicato sulla rivista Bizarre Adventures n.32, ex Marvel Preview, del 1982. John Bolton ha realizzato queste magnifiche tavole con la tecnica della mezzatinta acquerellata, cosa inusuale sui supereroi, dando alla luce una delle storie più belle e affascinanti del Dio del Tuono. Mai avrei immaginato di poter appendere alla parete un pezzo simile, come dicono i colleghi americani, un vero Grail! Questa storia fu pubblicata in Italia nel 1991 sul n.96 della rivista L'Eternauta. L'area disegnata misura 40 x 27 cm, il testo è applicato, in alcuni pannelli i balloons sono andati perduti. Wonderfully realized masterwork! Going direct to print in b&w magazine format shows a motivated Bolton going all out!
