DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!6.5x20.75" artboard has pen and ink original art for Sept. 5, 1955 daily strip by Rip Kirby co-creator Alex Raymond (1909-1956). Art is from Hep To The Jive storyline and features three panels, showing Hi Delity and Fi Delity fleeing from Rip Kirby, who pursues them in car. Last panel features Hi and Fi's car blowing a tire. Raymond has signed and dated last panel, which also bears KFS copyright strip. Small penciled "Rip Kirby" title at op left. Photoengraver inkstamp on back. Artboard has lt. even aging and art remains clean and Exc. Social/Sharing |
