DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!11.5x17.5" artboard has pen and ink w/inkwash original art for page 42 of Deadly Hands Of Kung Fu comic magazine, published by Marvel Nov. 1974. Splash title page for "The Lesson Of The Locust" story by Doug Moench, featuring the art of Mike Vosburg and inked by Bob McLeod. Art features Shang-Chi, Master of Kung Fu waking from sleep on sunny hillside overlooking busy highway outside Los Angeles. Handwritten title and editorial notations in pencil at top margin w/some additional editorial notations at lower right corner. McLeod has signed in black felt tip pen at top center margin. Bottom right has replacement inked text taped/glued in place w/some aging to tape. Additional piece of board attached on back at this area. Back has title inkstamp w/handwritten issue/page numbers as well as Marvel copyright inkstamp. Artboard has pin holes at top corners and shows some corner tip wear and dust soiling to margins. Art remains clean and VF overall. Social/Sharing |
