11.5x17.5" artboard has pen and ink w/inkwash original art for page 50 of Deadly Hands Of Kung Fu comic magazine, published by Marvel Nov. 1974. Art is for "The Lesson Of The Locust" story by Doug Moench, featuring the art of Mike Vosburg and inked by Bob McLeod. Art has four panels, showing Shang-Chi, Master of Kung Fu walking into alley only for gang to jump down from hiding and surround him. Shang-Chi appears in all but last panel. Handwritten title and editorial notations in pencil at top margin w/some additional editorial notations at bottom margin. McLeod has signed in black felt tip pen at top center margin. Area of surface paper lift to left of McLeod's signature, not distracting. Back has some scattered pencil sketches of alley structures and bears title inkstamp w/handwritten issue/page numbers as well as Marvel copyright inkstamp. Artboard has pin holes at top corners and shows some corner tip wear and dust soiling to margins. Art remains clean and Exc.
