DescriptionHere's something that I never thought I would be fortunate to have, the cover to Warlock and The Infinity Watch #25 Inside Cover Double Spread by Angelo Medina and Bill Anderson! And written by Mr. Infinity Gauntlet Jim Starlin! This is my FIRST Angel Medina art and can't believe it's a cover. The cover is Die-Cut, and had Thanos and Warlock on the front as patches, and this is the cover under the die-cut. Thor was in the Die-Cut and was seen on the cover and then the spread when it opened! Thanks to Will for thinking of me when he got this in his deal with Mike!Blood and Thunder part 12 of 13. Special Giant-Sized Issue. "Trial!" Guest-starring the Thor, Silver Surfer, Beta Ray Bill, and Doctor Strange. Story by Jim Starlin. Art by Angel Medina and Bob Almond. Story continued from Warlock Chronicles #8. Adam Warlock, Silver Surfer, Thanos, Doctor Strange, and the Infinity Watch storm the gates of Asgard to save the soul of Thor. Witness the amazing spectacle of the Silver Surfer and Thanos as they battle Odin the King of the Gods! Story concludes in Thor #471. Synopsis for "Raid on Asgard" Thanos and the heroes arrive on Bifrost and take out Heimdall. Odin senses this attack, and unleashes all of Asgard's warriors to attack them, thinking that the imprisoned Thor is to be used as some sort of bargaining chip against Asgard. The heroes manage to turn the tide against the Asgardians, so Odin himself enters the battle. Thanos takes on Odin one-on-one and gives as good as he gets. But soon Thanos goes down, and before Odin can deliver the killing stroke, Sif and Bill appear and stop him, telling Odin about Thor's madness. They determine that it is not Warrior's Madness which Thor suffers from, since it comes from Odin's past manipulations of Thor's spirit. Odin tries to cure Thor, but fails. And since Thor possesses the power gem, he would destroy everything unless is he killed, and Odin decides to do just that. Social/Sharing |
