Wow, do I love Stuart Immonen! But who doesn't? All those bold lines, beautiful shadows, and technical precision, all over excellent storytelling.
Spidey, given the unenviable task of getting Jessica's baby to safety, settles for a baby monitor, while Wolverine snikts a couple of dudes, including... Doctor Strange?? Stab first, ask questions later.
BIG thanks to my good friend Chris for letting this one go... it took some coaxing but this page is in good hands.

Beautiful page - wow! Wonderful renderings of our heroes (both those still standing and those fallen) and I love the wisps of smoke (or whatever) here that denote the "settling" of everything after an intense battle; you can hear the echo of the conflict slowly (very slowly) dying away on this page... I also love the 4 distinct camera angles being used here to convey the drama and storytelling: the 'straight on' establishing shot to ground things after the chaos, the 'from below' shot to connect with our heroes as they start to regroup and assess the damage, the 'top down' shot to show us that damage (and gently remove us, as viewers, from the scene as everything returns to normal - wink!-) and then the 'BOOM!' - the extreme close-up as Doctor Strange bursts awake... Very cinematic, incredible storytelling by the always impressive and delightful team of Immonen and von Grawbadger! Congrats on this beauty!
