Description

As per the auction description: "Captain Marvel engages in a conversation with Doc Samson about the trauma that comes with constantly being in danger."

I've been a big fan of Coipel as far back as Legion Lost. When I started collecting original Art he was one of the first Artists I looked for. Haven't picked up as many pieces as I would have wanted (or expected) but I liked this one because:
1) I'm also a big fan of Captain Marvel.
2) I like powered characters who have actual "normal human" jobs (like Jessica Jones, or Doc Samson).
3) The auction price was a comparative steal.

Stylish angles and crosshatching by Coipel make for a great visual treat across two pages. You get your fill of everything you admire on the page.

Fantastic double page spread from a modern master. I also enjoy these types of pages from time to time with real human moments.

Also one of my favorite artists. Prices for his new art are only getting more expensive so great find!!
