Description

Nice art team up, here, with Warren Kremer pencils and Lee Elias inks. Super fun page about the wrong kind of guy. I'd rate some of these panels as "yep: wrong guy!" and some of them as, "cool off: he gets to be human, too."

This was printed in black and white on the inside back cover of First Loves #90, from February of 1963.

This page was given to me by my friends, artist Steve Lieber, and his wife, Sara Ryan.

UPDATE: My friend Kurt Busiek pointed out that this one-pager was originally printed much earlier (and in color!) in Teen-Age Brides #1, from August of 1953, so I've updated this accordingly!

I'm all those things. My eye roves for new artwork to buy. I splurge on art. I comment on art too much. I go to too many comic art related events. I'm too lazy to scan art. I put my art in portfolios like a caveman instead of in mylars.
