Description

Hawk & Dove was my first intro to Liefeld and remains my favorite work by him. My feeling toward his other work is largely indifferent, but I adore what he did on this initial series. Karl Kesel really makes his layouts and pencils shine.

Great energy to the piece! Liefeld fans will certainly gravitate to these early examples knowing what is to come!

I agree with your description 100%. I really loved Liefeld's work on this series and it still holds up for me. A great piece of nostalgia. I almost bid on this one but I'm really happy to see this on CAF. I always enjoy your updates and it's wonderful to see this in your great collection! Huge congrats!

I also agree. While I don't care about his work anymore, even his detractors have to recognize that at that time on this series EVERYONE was paying attention to this new up & comer's (great) art.
