DescriptionAdam Warlock character re-design / concept artAnnihilation Conquest & Marvel Legends Series Artwork by Marko Djurdjevic Marvel Comics - 2006/2007 I am absolutely thrilled to finally add a Djurdjevic piece to my collection. He hasn't been doing a ton in comics and when he does he primarily works digitally, which makes his work very hard to come by. This piece ticked a lot of boxes for me being a tight piece from Marko, a character re-design, and a cosmic piece! Drawn in 2006 and published in 2007. I also really enjoy the spin on the classic lightening bolt costume and a cosmic-rock n roll feel with the boots and hair. This re-design was used for: - Several story arcs - Marvel Legends series action figure - Marvel Super Wars online game - Published in The Marvel Art of Marko Djurdjevic TPB It was great to see this costume re-design appear on the covers for Annihilation Conquest and be fully revealed in issue #5. I loved seeing it on the cover Annihilation Conquest #6, which introduced Adam Warlock and the new Guardians of the Galaxy. It was also such a treat to see Marvel hint at Warlock in the Marvel Cinematic Universe at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy 2. I can't wait to see what they do with him in the MCU. Social/Sharing |

Djurdjevic connects on a mighty swing with an iconic design! Every element makes "Him" a bonafide player in the Marvel cosmos! Warlock's new signature look would emphasize a more regal and powerful presence.
