Description

This is an original painting from Neil Gaiman and Charles Vess' beautiful "Blueberry Girl," written for their friend, the musician, Tori Amos. This page depicts Tori on an island, holding her baby, surrounded by animal guardians, and the text in the book reads "Gifts for a blueberry girl." I purchased this from another collector as a surprise gift for my wife, who had just given birth to our second son, having previously gifted her another piece from the book - "Blueberry Girl riding the wave" - when she became pregnant, and having proposed to her by reading from the book itself. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to care for this beautiful piece of work...
