Description

My buddy Carl was a huge Snake Plissken fan! He had some killer sketches of Snake and we talked about the movies a lot. When we lost him in 2020, my friends and I decided to make our 2021 theme, Turtles, Bats, Apes and Snakes to collect sketch of characters Carl liked and I knew I had to get a great Snake from someone Carl didn't have one from. As it turned out, I always wanted Carl to get Snake from Brian Level, so that's what I did. Brian delivered an intense looking Plissken and even passed the "test" Carl used to have to see if an artist would draw Snake smoking, without telling them about it! Yeah, this one's pretty bad ass and I think Carl would approve.

Great story, RIP to your friend. Haven't seen a piece by Brian I haven't liked yet, good choice.
