You can read into the structure and musculature under the stress of the pose. The lock of the post leg, the tensile stretch of the back, and the blood coarsing leading to the upper arms to the wall are all presented by Frazetta to show the human body and the life within.

Really nice Frazetta life drawing! The anatomy is solid and clearly indicated but every stroke is so loose and flowing that it doesn't look like an exercise. Such a natural pose and the hair is terrific
