DescriptionRandy Reynaldo is the writer-artist of Rob Hanes Adventures, an all-ages comic book about a globetrotting private investigator and troubleshooter. The cartoonist sets up at San Diego Comic Con in the Small Press Area and presents a new self-contained issue annually. I remember first meeting Randy in 1996 and I stopped by every year until my last two trips in 2014 and 2016. For the virtual 2020 Comic Con @ Home, I ordered the recent issues and caught up. This year, I purchased these original drawings which depict French intelligence agent Isabel Corbeil, Justice International agent Rob Hanes, and Princess Chulaborn. Randy redrew the women on a second page and digitally merged the images for the cover of the Rob Hanes Adventures Volume 0 paperback collection. I enjoy the stories and admire Randy's dedication. San Diego Comic Con gave Randy an Inkpot Award in 2018.Social/Sharing |
