I really enjoyed the Five Ghosts books and found this great transformation page still available. 11 x 17. Story by Frank Barbiere and art by Chris Mooneyham. Purchased from Felix Comic Art.

"After a tragic encounter with an artifact known as "The Dreamstone," infamous treasure hunter Fabian Gray was possessed by five literary ghosts and has been granted access to their unique abilities. The Wizard gives Gray the ability to wield magic. The Archer gives him lightning-quick reflexes and deadly accuracy. The Detective lends powers of intuition and deduction. From The Samurai, Gray borrows discipline and self-mastery - as well as mastery of a razor-sharp katana. The Vampire's subtlety, allure, and deadliness are the most dangerous powers of all for Gray to wield - both to his enemies and himself.

In "Lost Coastlines," Fabian joins his old flame Jezebel on a trip across the sea to Japan and the mythical Island of Dreams. On their perilous journey they'll encounter pirates and a dark shadow from Fabian's past."

Like the classic Universal Monsters reveal of the Wolf-Man, so mysterious and haunting in the night time woods atmosphere.
